Christmas Tree Lighting

We are excited to announce the first annual Saratoga Springs Christmas Tree Lighting. This will be held Monday, November 30th at 6:30 PM at the city offices.

A program will include music by the Harvest Elementary Spanish Immersion Program and Westlake High School Choir.

Santa will be there with a treat for the first 200 kids.

Make plans now to attend with your family what we hope will be a wonderful Christmas tradition.

Community Cookbook

The Civic Events Committee is putting together a Community Cookbook. We are looking to get 500 recipes from citizens, businesses and community leaders. The book will be available for purchase during Saratoga Splash 2010.

To add a recipe go to http://www.typensave.com/ the contributor is your name, login is sscivicevents and the password is cookbook.

Please tell all your friends and neighbors. Recipes will be accepted through February 2010. All proceeds from the sale of this book will go toward future civic events.

HARVEST FESTIVAL

Come and join us on Saturday, October 24th from 12 until 4 PM for the city Harvest Festival.
There will be carnival booths from local PTA's and clubs. A costume contest for infants to 12 years old. A pumpkin carving contest open to everyone and a Hot Dog meal served by the Civic Events Committee for $2.50. There will also be fall portraits by Carma Gray Photography.

You can also try your hand at cooking and join us in a "Chili Cook-Off". The grand prize is $100.00!! For complete rules and to register for this event go to the city website www.saratoga-spring.net

This will be held at the Harvest Hills Park and in case of inclement weather will move to the Harvest Elementary.

FREE Concert at Talon's Cove

This Friday from 7:00 PM to Dark, Jim Huish and his band will be performing at Talon's Cove.
This is a FREE concert. Bring your family, friends and a blanket and enjoy a great night of music at the beautiful Talon's Cove.

They will have their snack bar open if you want to buy treats!!!

FREE Concert at Talons Cove Golf Course

This Saturday, August 29th from 7:00 to 9:00 PM is a FREE concert at Talons Cove Golf Course. Bring a blanket or lawn chairs and enjoy a great night of FREE music and fun.

No Concert!!!

We regret to inform you that we are unable to have the Saratoga's Got Talent and Peter Breinholt Concert on July 11th as planned. We worked very hard to pull everything back together, but at the last minute we ran into some unexpected problems that are making it difficult to pull off. We tried finding another day that would work, but coordinating Peter Breinholt, the stage, the sound and lighting company and the park is proving to be impossible. We apologize for any inconvenience and want you to know how much we appreciate your support of this event as well as your patience with us as we have tried to make it happen even after it was rained out.
